Cat Trick is a trick-taking game with a twist that will make every cat lover at the table cackle: collect too many cards of one suit and you become a greedy kitty, forced to share your toys with the other players. The goal is to collect one card from each suit rather than hoard them, which means the player sitting pretty with a pile of red cards is about to have a very bad turn.
Part of Helvetiq's EASY GO line of ultra-compact games, Cat Trick plays in 20 to 30 minutes with 3 to 5 players and fits in a box small enough to go anywhere. The rules are simple enough to explain in a minute but the decisions are just interesting enough to keep everyone paying attention. A great intro to trick-taking for families, and a fun filler for players who already know the genre.
