Recognised as an official bird in seven U.S. states, this vibrant songbird is the most popular bird in America. Northern Cardinals mate for life and they’re non-migratory which means they do not live more than a mile out of their birthplace. The male also gets quite territorial during mating season and attacks their own reflection thinking it’s an intruder.
