Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft

Barovia's fog never lifts, and neither does the pressure once Strahd von Zarovich enters the board: this entry in the Horrified series swaps out the Universal Monsters for four D&D villains, including a Darklord who manipulates the map itself through Tarokka card readings. Carrionette, Gulthias Tree, and Baba Lysaga round out the roster, each with its own puzzle to crack before the terror track fills up.

Every player picks one of five D&D-flavored hero classes and works the same shared board, alternating between moving heroes into position and watching the monsters retaliate. A d20 joins the usual dice pool for skill checks, so tabletop RPG fans in the group will feel right at home even though this plays start to finish in about an hour.
