River Valley Glassworks

The river is full of beautiful glass, and the woodland creatures of River Valley have big plans for it. In River Valley Glassworks, you play as one of these entrepreneurial pioneers, drafting colorful glass pieces from a shifting river market and placing them strategically in your shop to score the most points.

Each turn you play a piece from your inventory into the river, then collect glass from an adjacent tile. As pieces are taken, the river shifts and new opportunities open up. The glass you collect gets slotted into your glassworks board by color and shape — fill rows for bonus points, build your tallest columns, but collect too many of one type and you'll pay for it.

It's a cozy-looking game with a surprisingly satisfying puzzle underneath. Rules take minutes to learn, the board resets in 30 seconds, and the "one more game" factor is real. The colorful acrylic glass pieces don't hurt either.
