It is the Third Age of Middle-earth, and every player at the table is fighting two wars at once. In The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict, you command the Free Peoples against the neighbor on your left and the Shadow against the neighbor on your right, all at the same time. Help your Fellowship slip past the Eye toward Mount Doom on one side of your board while your Nazgûl hunt someone else's Fellowship on the other. Every roll is a choice between the two.
Each round, everyone uses the same shared dice, splitting them between their Free Peoples and their Shadow and marking the results on their player board.
